LED strip (1m 144 LEDs/m)

This strip has 144 LEDs per meter, and is one meter long. 1 x 144 = 144 LEDs total.

These are pretty cool. The LEDs are as close together as possible, giving you the highest possible density given the LED size. Perfect if you want to stare directly at them, because the animations will seem the most smooth.

Also ideal if you want to reflect them off a surface that's really close to the strip, or if you want to place them in a small diffuser. If you try either of these with the less dense strips, you'll see separated glowing dots. This can be a good or bad thing, depending on the look you're going for.

One problem is that this strip is NOT meant for cutting. If you want to cut custom strip sizes, I'd go for the less dense options (60 LEDs/m or 30 LEDs/m).
