LED Grid (8 x 8)

You probably know by now that I am a fan of the LED grids. There's something cool about them, it's like a super low-res pixelated screen but not really at the same time because the LEDs make circles and not squares.

Anyways, this is just one of the sizes we offer. 8 by 8 LEDs, 64 total. They're about 8cm by 8cm in size.

These specific grids can service multiple functions:

• You can stare at them directly like a little screen. If you want it JUST for that, consider the larger variants (16x16 or 8x32) as they effect is cooler on those.
• The smaller size of these guys also means its easier to place around, maybe you can think of a creative way to use them in an installation, or have them scattered around your workspace.
• They are also good for placing behind or underneat something where you want a strong glow. Perhaps a grid behind each of your speakers?

They also bend a bit. Not too much as they start to get a bit crunchy, but still a bit. Not sure how this feature can be useful given the matrix size but you guys are more creative than I am so I'm sure you can think of something cool.

PLEASE NOTE: These grids are not really designed to be used at full brightness, especially at white. They come manufactured on flexible PCBs, which have poor heat disipation, meaning they start to get a bit hot. You have been warned!
